HARAS DU LOGIS has been run as a stud farm for approximately thirty years and covers an area of 110 hectares based in the heart of the breeding industry in France on the Calvados / Orne border. Since then a steady stream of winners and group horses have been raised and / or grazed here.

Champions RISK ME, SHAKE THE YOKE and STREISAND all passed through Logis before they had seen the racetrack! The most famous of all the Logis-raised horses came in the shape of the mighty Champion HELISSIO when winning his Group 1 Prix d l'Arc de Triomphe. Owned by the late Mr Sarasola and bought by Bruno Ridoux of the Winners Agency we can't thank them enough for all their support throughout the years.

In 2006 their breeding success continued in the shape of Group 1 winner Lina’s Drop.
Group 1 Winner EXECUTE proved himself to be one of the toughest horses in training over the years in France. Raised at Logis by the Kura family, trained by John Hammond, owned by Ecurie Chaloub and managed by Jean Pierre Deroubaix he was a magnificent advertisement for the horses raised here.

Pierre Deroubaix also managed the breeding operation of Mr Saraskaiya, Breeder of Group 1 winner 2006 ROYAL HONOR born raised and sold by Logis.

FLOP 2nd in the Group 1 Yellow Ribbon Stakes became yet another Group 1 horse foaled and raised here at Logis - bred by Mr Watanabe and managed by Patrick Barbe.

Of our most loyal clients and friends have been the Volz family and to date since they have been with us in nine years they have had 100% winners to runners. These includ Group3 winner TIBERIUS CAESAR himself sold as a yearling for 1.1 million Francs to Dirk Eisele of BBA Germany for Gestut Schlenderhan. Also Listed winner, Gr3 placed TOCOPILLA, the Royal Ascot Listed placed THYOLO and in 2006 Listed filly TOAMASINA and CLASSIC Winner TERTILLUS. Since then Group 3 winner TOUCH MY SOUL was one of the leading fillies in Germany in 2007 before being sold to race in America. In 2008 TEKOA is listed placed filly by Zieten and will now run in a Group one race!

In 2007 two of our partnership horses bought a auction and in a claiming race were Listed winner NORWEIGEN PRIDE , the Listed placed two year old MAKAin Our homebreds and owned horses have just started to see the racetrack and in 2007 these included the MULTIPLE GROUP 1 WINNER SKYS THE LIMIT, and Listed homebred three year old DAVENTRY. Also LINAS DROP another Group 1 winner in 2007.

While boarding mares and raising youngstock for our clients we have brought in some new stallions to France. Our special thanks go out to Darley Stud Management who have helped us to achieve this. From young Gr1 winners and top class two year olds to Classic winning champions of the highest quality. We now have an excellent roster "Our criteria are simple, our stallions are Group 1 winners or top class 2 year olds with a stallions pedigree and good looks at a price that offers real value to the breeder."
